Diseño y producción de una publicación experimental sobre el gaitero más internacional como tributo a su increíble carrera musical.

Since I was a child I've been always fascinated by Celtic music, the bagpipes and, of course, Carlos Núñez's music. During my path as an amateur musician, I've had the chance to accompany Carlos on the stage in one occasion and, later on, to meet his master, Antón Corral. He accepted to make me one of the items with more sentimental value I possess: my bagpipes.

Bagpipes are the root of my creative inquietude. I saw this book as an opportunity to visually explore what I always liked.

Carlos Núñez - Musics is the visual interpretation of what a book would look like with the information that is in the official website of this great musician. The text has been translated to English as most of the information regarding the albums and other details is written only in Spanish.

This book was a great opportunity to develop skills in layout, typography and book-making.

The photographs have been taken from internet and some of them have been modified to keep the consistency throughout the book. Not all the pages are exposed here. The authors of the photographs are varied, but the main photographer is Javier Salas. Please, check out his amazing work.

Desde que era un niño siempre me ha fascinado la música celta, la gaita y, cómo no, la música de Carlos Núñez. Durante mi trayecto como músico amateur, tuve la oportunidad de acompañarle en el escenario en una ocasión y, mucho más adelante, de conocer a su maestro, Antón Corral. Éste accedió a crearme uno de las cosas que más valor sentimental tienen para mi: mi gaita.

La gaita es la raíz de mis inquietudes creativas. Vi este libro como una oportunidad para explorar visualmente lo que siempre me gustó.

Este libro fue una gran oportunidad para desarrollar habilidades en disposición de texto, tipografía y fabricación de libros.
